About Me

My name is Megan Tucker, and I am a Colorado-based photographer. I am mostly self-taught and love shooting a variety of subjects. My favorite shots are captured outdoors while hiking or traveling, but I also enjoy shooting portraits, events, and real estate photography.

I started shooting when I was 13 and got my first point-and-shoot camera. Since then, my gear and expertise have evolved. As of 2023, I am a certified FAA Part 107 pilot, allowing me to capture drone photos commercially. After graduating college in 2026, I moved from MA to CO to pursue my passions of photography and being outdoors as much as I can while I'm not working my 9-5.

I am also the creator of LightCast Suite, a photography conditions iOS App. LightCast provides forecasts for upcoming golden hour light, milky way visibility, Aurora Borealis activity, drone flying conditons, and more to help outdoor photographers across 93+ countries chase better light.
